Le Puy de la Lune

It was a special celebration meal for us, and was made special. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere relaxed and the decor dramatic. The food from beginning to.end was creative, beautifully presented and each course an event in taste combinations. A hugecrange of wines. Highly recommended.

A little jewel in the quiet centre of Clermont Ferrand. V&eacute;ronique - le chef - rains in the kitchen where everything is cooked from scratch in the house. She uses one waiter - a very nice receptive lady &mdash; and their team is formidable! We ate today a pumpkin crumble, salmon and blanket de veau with fresh pasta and for desert: cr&egrave;me br&ucirc;l&eacute;e and drunk pear with salty caramel and black sesame ice-cream, To top up our experience today, we were offered a nice dry wine from&hellip; Auvergne and it was very goo with its gentle fruity notes. We spent for two with a 1/2 bottle of wine about &euro;45. Wholehearted commendations!

This is a great little restaurant in one of the back streets of Clermont Ferrand. It is run by the owner, Thierry, who is also the chef and the waiter. The menu is small, 3 starters, 3 mains and I think 3 desserts, but all freshly prepared and delicious. Thierry is delightful and very friendly. The white wine he suggested was excellent. You will need to book as he can only cater for a small amount as he is on his own, but you won&rsquo;t be disappointed.

Great place to try out a broad selection of French wines and cheese. Neither is from the Auvergne  region which actually is a plus as so many restaurants in town offer great regional cusine. This is a place to find a more broad presentation of the French wine and cheese culture.. Very good pairings.

Very good pizza, well made with quality ingredients.Hygiene is the issue !!The staff making the pizzas, are touching raw ingredients as well as using the till, touching money , the telephone etc WITHOUT washing their hands between food preparation and running the pizzeria, this is not good practice.

Comme toujours, Daniel Roblet et sa sympathique équipe nous ont régalé dans un lieu avec une âme. Notre succulent déjeuner familial où trois générations étaient réunies était accompagné d&apos;une musique de jazz et blues feutrée et magistralement interprétée "en direct". Des plats superbement présentés, un régal pour les papilles (ne ratez surtout pas la truffade !) et une atmosphère chaleureuse. Pour les amateurs de rhum, c&apos;est un paradis où vous pourrez découvrir des rhums du monde entier.

As always, Daniel Roblet and his sympathetic team gave us a place with a soul. Our suffering family lunch, where three generations were gathered, was accompanied by a jazz and blues music, which was "live" and was masterly interpreted. A gift for papillae (do not miss the truffa!) and a warm atmosphere.For rum lovers, c&apos;is a paradise where you can discover rums from all over the world.

L&apos;endroit est sympathique, par contre très déçu de la qualité/quantité de la truffade, un plat "grand format" pas copieux du tout et de qualité moyenne vendu à plus de 20 euros, avec 3 petites tranches de jambon et 2 feullies de salade.... c&apos;est moyen !

The place is sympathetic, but very disappointed with the quality/quantity of the truffa, a "large" non-copy-format plate of overall and medium-quality sold for more than 20 euros, with 3 small portions of jambon and 2 salad leaves .... c&apos; It is a mean !

Très bonne soirée tout en musique. Très bon accueil et service. Tartuffade délicieuse et un choix de bières sympathiques.

Great, simple restaurant with a great vibe. The waiters/waitresses were really nice, the food was excellent and I enjoyed the music in the background. The added bonus is that the terrace is in a tiny, quiet street so we could eat outside in complete peace :)
